Job summary

Verts is seeking a Mobile Head of Kitchen to oversee catering across the Rushcliffe and Arnold area. You will lead kitchen operations, ensuring high food quality and service at multiple sites, while managing staff and stock across a 30-hour week.

The role requires catering experience, strong customer service, team leadership, and a solid understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices. Travel between sites is required.

About the Role

Based across the Rushcliffe and Arnold area, you will be working 7:30am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year. As a Mobile Head of Kitchen, you will support multiple catering sites, leading kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high quality food and service standards.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications.
• Managing day to day kitchen operations across multiple sites.
• Supervising and supporting catering colleagues.
• Monitoring food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
• Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and minimising waste.

• Providing support and cover where required across the catering operation.
