Job summary

Verters delivers trusted, integrated facilities management solutions across Great Britain. We are recruiting a Head of Kitchen to lead catering operations across Worksop, Retford and Tuxford, working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 08:00–13:00 for 39.2 weeks per year.

The role requires travel between sites and a full UK driving licence. You will prepare, cook and serve high quality meals, manage day-to-day kitchen operations and lead catering teams across sites while maintaining food safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Head of Kitchen, Cook Manager or similar catering role.
• Experience working within a school or commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A passion for delivering high quality food and customer service.
• The ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

About the Role

Working across Worksop, Retford and Tuxford, you will be working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 13:00, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in leading catering operations across multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of high quality meals and excellent customer service standards. As this is a mobile role, you will be required to travel between locations as required.
