Job summary

Vertas Group is seeking a mobile Head of Kitchen to lead kitchen operations across several school sites. The role involves preparing, cooking and serving meals, managing stock, ordering and waste, and ensuring food safety and standards.

With 25 hours a week over 39.2 weeks a year, you will travel between sites and must hold a full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK. You will oversee catering teams, maintain high customer service to pupils, staff and visitors, and support sites with

Qualifications

Job description

This mobile Head of Kitchen post sits in the Catering Team at Vertas Group and covers several school sites. The work centres on leading kitchen operations across those sites, cooking and serving meals, and managing stock, ordering and food waste. It runs 25 hours a week over 39.2 weeks a year, with travel between sites. Fit depends on a full UK driving licence, a vehicle of one's own, and the right to work in the UK.
