Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking Mobile Retail Security Officers to support multiple supermarket locations across Swindon and the surrounding area. This is a dynamic, customer-focused security role that requires flexibility, vigilance, and strong communication.

You will patrol sites, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed. A valid SIA licence and DBS clearance are essential, along with the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required and right to work in the UK confirmed.
• Experience in retail security or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Proactive, reliable and professional attitude with strong observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-profile security presence to deter theft and incidents across multiple store locations.
• Conduct regular patrols of shop floors, entrances and perimeters; monitor CCTV in real time.
• Respond quickly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; carry out searches per policy and law; liaise with store management.
• Produce clear incident reports in a timely manner and deliver excellent customer service.
• De-escalate situations calmly and safely; ensure compliance with health, safety and client procedures.
• Travel between sites as required and support wider security operations.
