Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking professional Mobile Retail Security Officers to cover multiple supermarket locations around the Chesterfield area. You will provide a high-profile security presence, deter theft, protect people, property and stock, and respond to incidents across sites as required.

Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is essential. A valid SIA licence, DBS clearance, and Right to Work in the UK are required, with driving licence and own vehicle

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• SIA Licence (DS or Security Guarding) is essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-profile security presence to deter theft and protect people, property and stock.
• Conduct regular patrols across store areas and perimeters.
• Monitor CCTV systems and identify suspicious activity in real time.
• Respond quickly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Carry out searches in line with policy and legal requirements.
• Liaise with store management to address risks and support loss prevention.
• Prepare clear incident reports promptly.
• Deliver professional customer service and assist with queries.
• De-escalate situations calmly and safely.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and client procedures.
• Travel between sites as required to support operations.
