Mobile Fabric Engineer
Permanent, Full Time
Salary: up to £31,570 + Commercial Van + Fuel Card
Location: Derby with regional travel

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to maintain various client sites across Derby and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

1. The Fabric Engineer would be responsible for undertaking building fabric and plumbing maintenance works including PPM servicing and reactive breakdown repairs covering building fabric (door furniture, fire door maintenance, ceiling and floor tiles etc).
2. Minor plumbing repairs (sinks flow checks, taps, toilets etc).
3. Supporting with basic electrical (emergency lighting, lamp/ballast changes) and HVAC services (AC filter changes).

The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be happy travelling across Derby.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

1. Proven maintenance experience in commercial environments.
2. Multi-skilled across building services (i.e., Fabric, Plumbing).
3. Proactive and willing attitude towards work.
4. Experience of using a handheld device (PDA).
5. UK – Driver’s License (no more than 6 points).
