Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Relief ChefManager to provide cover across Kingston & Richmond. The role is term-time only with no weekends, and is mobile-based requiring your own transport.

It offers 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year. You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, and ensure Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental procedures are followed at every location.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at least 4 or above.
• NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Progressive catering background.
• Food Hygiene Level 1 or above.
• Strong supervisory experience.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Experience in education catering.
• Manage a medium-size location.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to plan ahead and work on own initiative.
• Excellent communicator at all levels.
• Good delegation and influencing skills.
• Flexible to work at different sites.
• Smart appearance with high hygiene standards; confident and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure sites meet Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation.
• To uphold the company's reputation for excellent food and service at all times.
• To support day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including inventories, budgets, and action plans.
