Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to provide cover in Colne and surrounding villages. This term-time only, mobile role requires you to have your own transport. The role offers a competitive £16.00 per hour with no weekends.

Responsibilities include cooking to Caterlink and client standards, enforcing Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance, and upholding the company’s reputation for excellent service. You will supervise teams and help manage inventories and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in school kitchens.
• Level 2 Catering qualification.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure locations meet statutory and company Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures.
• To ensure the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
