Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to cover term-time locations across Greater London. The role is mobile-based and requires your own transport, offering 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position runs 39 weeks per year.

You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, ensuring health and safety compliance while supporting site teams, budgets and inventories. A blended learning programme and employee perks enhance development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience commensurate with role.
• Excellent creative culinary skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills
• Proficiency in food cost management
• Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that our locations meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
