Job summary

SUEZ in the United Kingdom is seeking an on-site team member to support waste and materials recovery operations at our Rochdale site. You will help customers, assist with site operations, and ensure materials are handled efficiently while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a good customer service attitude, teamwork, and flexibility to cover holidays and sickness. Training will be provided for mobile plant use, and a full driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
• Prior mobile plant use is desirable but full training will be given.
• Full Driving Licence is required.
• Flexibility to cover holidays and sick days as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and advise the public on site use to maximise material recovery.
• Operate mobile plant as required.
• Maintain accurate site records for the removal of materials from the site.
• Coordinate container exchanges by booking loads to ensure space for segregation and storage.
• Keep the site tidy within your area of responsibility.
• Support compliance with health, safety and welfare duties for employees and others.
• Co-operate with SUEZ and other staff to meet the site permit and company policies.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job.
