Job summary

Allstaff is seeking a Mobile Pump Field Service Workshop Engineer based in Castleford for a permanent role. Salary is £40,000 and the place of work is Castleford.

The role involves a 37.5 hour week (Mon-Thu 8.15am–4.45pm, Fri 8.15am–1.45pm) with responsibilities including pump de-contamination, dismantling, testing, spare parts identification, electrical inspection and diesel pump maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or time served.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Experience with diesel pump sets is essential.
• Fault finding skills are required.

Responsibilities

• De-contamination of pump units prior to inspection.
• Dismantling, inspection and reporting on pump condition.
• Assembly and testing of pumps.
• Identification of spare parts.
• Electrical inspection of pumps.
• Diesel pumpset repair and maintenance.
• Collecting/delivering pumps/equipment when required.
