Job summary

Allstaff Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Pump Field Service Workshop Engineer based in Castleford for a full-time permanent role. You will de-contaminate pump units, dismantle and inspect, assemble and test pumps, and identify required spare parts.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, experience with electric motors and control gear, reading engineering drawings, a full driving license, and diesel pump knowledge.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship or time served.
• Electric motor & control equipment experience.
• Previous experience of pumps & rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Full driving license.
• Experience in Diesel pump sets.
• Fault finding skills.

Responsibilities

• De-contamination of pump units prior to inspection.
• Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump condition.
• Assembly and testing of pumps.
• Identification of spare parts.
• Electrical inspection of pumps.
• Diesel pumpset repair and maintenance.
• Collecting/delivering of pumps/equipment if required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Pump Field Service Workshop Engineer based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Mobile Pump Field Service Workshop Engineer role

Salary: £40,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week - Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 4.45pm, Friday - 8.15am - 1.45pm

Responsibilities of the Mobile Pump Field Service Workshop Engineer

• De-contamination of pump units prior to inspection
