Job summary

Neos Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team serving the Birmingham area. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining mobile plant and pumping equipment, with emphasis on pump systems and hydraulic/electrical fault diagnosis.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical fault-finding skills, a full UK driving licence, and a proven ability to work independently on customer sites with occasional workshop work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on mobile plant and machinery.
• Pump experience is highly desirable, particularly with pumping equipment.
• Good understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Electrical and diagnostic experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with dewatering pumps, diesel-driven pumps, submersible pumps or related systems would be beneficial.

Mobile Plant / Pump Engineer

Location: Birmingham
Salary: £38,000 – £41,000 per annum

The Opportunity

We're urgently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the Birmingham area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically strong engineer with experience working on mobile plant and pumping equipment. Candidates with intensive pump experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

You'll be responsible for keeping a range of plant and equipment operational, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance both in the workshop and on customer sites.

The Role
