Luton Bennett is seeking a Pump Engineer (Mobile / Field Service) based in Newcastle. The role covers mechanical servicing, installation and fault finding on diesel, electrical and air-driven pumps, with travel to customer sites and occasional stay-aways.

You will be responsible for commissioning, de-installation, and repairs on rental equipment, often driving with a trailer to deliver and service pumps across the region.

Pump Engineer (Mobile / Field Service)

Salary £38,000 to £42,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sunday) + Company Van + 22 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Private Medical + Life Assurance + Sick Pay + Income Protection + £25 Overnight Bonus

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week – 8am Start

Pump Engineer required for a market leading rental company of industrial equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with an impressive global reputation.

Candidates will need pumps maintenance experience. You will hold both electrical and mechanical experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical, and air driven pumps. You will also carry out installs and de-installs of pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at customer sites.

This role will involve travelling to customer sites with travel to Brigg for training. Occasional stay-away may be required, approximately twice a month and you will also be a part of a rotational call-out rota for one week in four, however, most issues can be resolved remotely.

The Pump Engineer Role:
