Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their field-based team covering Peterborough and surrounding areas in East Anglia, UK. The role involves servicing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting MEWPs, with on-site calls and thorough documentation.

A strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge base is essential, with CAP/LOLER qualifications preferred but not required. A company van and fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working on powered access equipment / MEWPs.
• Strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge.
• CAP qualified preferred but not essential
• LOLER qualified preferred but not essential to start
• Confident fault-finding and working independently
• Good computer and paperwork skills
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair powered access equipment / MEWPs
• Diagnose faults across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Attend customer sites for servicing and breakdowns
• Complete PDI checks, inspections, and planned maintenance
• Carry out LOLER inspections where qualified
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service

Position: Mobile Powered Access Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days
Salary: £45,000
Overtime paid at 1.5

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join a well-established powered access business covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas. This is a field-based role servicing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting a fleet of MEWPs.

The Role:

• Service, maintain, and repair powered access equipment / MEWPs
• Diagnose faults across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Attend customer sites for servicing and breakdowns
• Complete PDI checks, inspections, and planned maintenance
• Carry out LOLER inspections where qualified
