Job summary

SER (Staffing) Ltd is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service and repair powered access equipment across the East Midlands, based in Derby. The role offers a competitive package with £40,000–£45,000 basic pay, a 42.5-hour week, overtime, and a company van with fuel card.

You will diagnose faults, carry out maintenance, and provide excellent service on-site or remotely, with travel across the East Midlands and a strong emphasis on safety and precise records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with powered access machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in engineering required.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Good problem-solving and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair powered access machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Ensure work meets health and safety standards.
• Provide on-site or remote customer service.
• Keep accurate service records and parts used.
• Collaborate with team to schedule jobs.
