SER Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team, covering the East Midlands region. This role involves servicing and repairing scissor lifts, booms, telehandlers, and related equipment at client sites, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The position offers a competitive basic salary plus overtime potential, a company van with fuel card for personal use, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company mobile phone, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Proven experience with powered access equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites across the East Midlands to carry out maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and fix faults on a range of powered access equipment.
• Maintain safe, high-quality workmanship meeting company standards.
• Complete service reports and accurate documentation of work.
• Liaise with clients to update progress and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure the company van is stocked with tools and parts for the job.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team, covering the East Midlands region. Responsibilities

• Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, booms, and telehandlers.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards, adhering to company and industry regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service while working on-site at client locations across the East Midlands.
• Maintaining accurate records of all work completed, including service reports and job sheets.
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with powered access equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

Day-to-Day
