Job summary

Lloyds British Group Ltd is looking for a Powered Access Engineer based in Wellington. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining powered access equipment while ensuring safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have experience with brands like Niftylift, Skyjack, and Genie, alongside capabilities in fault finding and diagnostics. The role offers 26 days of holiday, pension scheme, and more.

Qualifications

• Ideally CAP registered, training provided.
• Experience estimating repairs with a keen eye for detail.
• Previous engineering experience within powered access.

Job description

Powered Access Engineer – Wellington – Monday to Friday – 07:30 – 17:00 – 45 hours per week

You will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence. You will be based at our XXX site working with a team of Engineers, ensuring all kit is refurbished, checked and meets health and safety regulations before it goes back on hire.

Requirements

• Ideally CAP registered (not required; training provided)
• Previous experience with powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG
• Experience estimating repairs with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
