Are you an experienced Plant Fitter with a passion for keeping construction equipment running smoothly? We're looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Mobile Plant Technician. Based primarily across London, areas include SE1, SE26, SE16, E17, E6, IG11, EN2, W3, NW3, SW17, BR3, BR5 and our Motney depot ME8 7UA — you\'ll play a vital role in servicing and repairing a wide range of construction plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a variety of company plant assets, including towable equipment.
• Carry out timely repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Provide excellent customer service, both on-site and in the workshop.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the workshop supervisor and other team members.
• Assist colleagues across the Plant team as needed.
• Attend emergency breakdowns on-site when required.

This is a hands-on, varied role that offers the opportunity to work across different sites and with a broad range of equipment.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in plant maintenance, such as an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent, with solid demonstrable hands-on experience maintaining construction plant equipment.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this mobile role; the ability to remain calm under pressure and get machinery back up and running efficiently.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting the wider team; strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
