Job summary

Unify is recruiting a Mobile Plant Fitter to maintain, diagnose faults, and service a range of ADT’s, Dozers, Telehandlers, Excavators and related equipment across the Midlands region. The role includes occasional installation support for GPS and machine control systems.

You will need a strong maintenance background, organizational skills, and a full UK driving licence. NVQ in construction plant mechanics is preferred; CSCS is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance.
• Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills
• NVQ or equivalent qualification in construction plant mechanics or similar.
• Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks.
• CSCS card desirable but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently.
• Carry out regular fluid monitoring and lubrication as well as replenishment.
• Carry out fitting replacement parts, preventative maintenance and monitoring of machinery
• Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards.
• Support the Digital division with installation of GPS and machine control systems and related tech, with full training provided.

Job Type: Permanent, 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £15.50 - £18.00per hour, vehicle provided

Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established Construction Plant business. As the Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be tasked with maintaining diagnosing faults, fitting and servicing a range of ADT’s, Dozers, Telehandlers, Excavators and agricultural and compaction equipment.

• You’ll also have the opportunity to support the across the Digital division with the installation of GPS and machine control systems, human-form recognition cameras, height and slew restriction technology and other emerging solutions as the division continues to develop. Full product training and ongoing support will be provided where required
