Job summary

Smart Solutions in Oldbury is recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Operative for a busy recycling facility. You will safely operate mobile plant machinery, load and move recyclable materials, and perform daily checks to uphold health and safety standards.

Working hours are 6:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, in a full-time role at our Oldbury site. Prior experience in recycling or construction is preferred, with licences for mobile plant a must.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in recycling, waste management or construction is advantageous.
• Must hold a valid licence/ticket for at least one listed machine.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating mobile plant machinery within a recycling environment.
• Loading, moving and handling recyclable materials.
• Completing daily machinery and equipment checks.
• Following all site health & safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Supporting general site operations and other duties as required

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Essential Requirements

You must hold a valid licence/ticket for at least one of the following:

• Loading Shovel
• 360 Excavator / Grab

Previous experience within recycling, waste management, construction, or a similar industrial environment would be advantageous.
