Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to maintain, service and repair machinery at a busy site in Caythorpe, NG32. This role offers 12-hour day shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota, with pay £17-£21 per hour.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, service loaders, conveyors and related equipment, and perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance. Overtime is paid after 45 hours, with a long-term opportunity in the waste management sector.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plant Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Desirable NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mobile and static plant machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Service loaders, conveyors, shredders, balers and compactors.
• Carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure equipment reliability and health and safety compliance.
