Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business in the West Midlands. You will service, maintain and repair construction and agricultural machinery across customer sites with some workshop work when required.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with overtime paid at time-and-a-half, a company van and fuel card, and ongoing training and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plant Fitter or Agricultural Engineer.
• Strong mechanical engineering and fault-finding experience.
• Experience on construction or agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural plant machinery.
• Diagnosing faults across mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites.
• Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Communicating additional repair requirements to customers.
• Completing job sheets and service documentation accurately.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service.

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business supporting customers across the West Midlands. The role will involve travelling to customer sites across the area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs, with workshop-based work when required.
