Job summary

PATH Recruitment currently seeks a Trainee Plant Engineer in Doncaster, covering the North. You will visit customer sites to diagnose faults, service plant machinery and carry out mechanical repairs on excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers and related equipment.

The role is mobile, requires a full driving licence and your own tools; full training will be provided, with overtime opportunities and a van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Own tools are required to carry out the role.
• Willingness to travel across the North to attend sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites across the North to diagnose faults and perform servicing on plant machinery.
• Carry out mechanical repairs on a range of construction equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers, etc.).
• Minimise downtime by fault-finding, servicing and timely repairs.
