Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role involves servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of plant and material handling equipment at customer sites across the UK.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically and electrically capable with experience on mobile plant, strong hydraulic knowledge and a customer-focused approach. A full UK driving licence is essential, with clear progression and training opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic systems and plant machinery.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and electrical diagnosis skills.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Work on mobile plant machinery at customer sites.
• Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Manage hydraulic and pneumatic systems and engine-related tasks.
• Travel to client sites to service equipment and provide technical support.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
