Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join their team. The role is hands-on, focusing on servicing, maintenance and fault finding on construction and plant equipment both in the workshop and at customer sites.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs, and prepare machinery for hire or return while upholding high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plant Engineer or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience working on construction or heavy plant equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of plant and construction equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Attending customer sites across the local area to perform repairs and servicing.
