Job summary

NEOS Engineering is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to join their Gloucester team. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of construction and plant equipment both in the workshop and on client sites.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, carry out planned maintenance, complete service reports and work closely with customers while upholding high safety standards. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding experience.
• Experience working on construction or heavy plant equipment.
• A full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications in Plant Maintenance, Land-Based Engineering or a similar discipline would be advantageous, but practical plant experience is the key requirement.

Responsibilities

Gloucester | £38,000 – £41,000 + Overtime

The Opportunity

NEOS Engineering are working with an established business within the plant and equipment sector, who are looking to add an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to their team in Gloucester.

This is a hands‑on role working primarily on construction and plant equipment, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs both in the workshop and out in the field.

The Role

About You
