Plant and Equipment Hire Business is seeking a Mobile Plant Engineer to cover Southampton and surrounding areas. You will service, diagnose faults and repair construction plant at customer sites and depots, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable and ready for hire.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical fault-finding and hydraulic/electrical knowledge, a full UK driving licence, and an NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience with servicing and repairing construction plant.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on plant and construction equipment.
• Attend breakdowns at customer sites and depots.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections to minimise downtime.
• Repair and replace components to ensure safety and operability.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Liaise with customers and depot teams to provide updates.
