Job summary
NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering business to appoint an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repair of plant across customer sites, with on-call duties and the potential for overtime; you should have strong diagnostic skills and experience with pumps.
You will need a full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent; the package includes

- Experience with pumps and heavy plant equipment is required.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are important.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Attending customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs.
- Completing inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Working independently while representing the company on customer sites.
- Completing service reports and recording all work.
