Job summary
NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to service, maintain and repair plant across customer sites in the Gloucestershire area. The role offers a clear career path with long-term opportunities and earnings potential.
You should have experience with construction, earthmoving, agricultural or recycling equipment, a full UK driving licence, and be able to work independently. The package includes a monthly bonus, overtime, a company van and on-call payments.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned servicing and preventive maintenance on plant machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Attend customer sites for breakdown repairs.
- Complete inspections to ensure equipment is safe and efficient.
- Work independently and represent the company professionally on site.
- Complete service reports and record all work.
- Order parts through approved supplier accounts.
- Communicate with supervisors, customers and engineering team.
- Participate in on-call rota when required.
