Perfect Placement UK Ltd presents an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Plant Engineer based in Slough, Berkshire. Work with a reputable national fleet and plant maintenance company on a Monday–Friday schedule in a hands-on role offering progression and development.

Role requires NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, experience with HGV/Plant techs, and a full UK driving licence. Tool ownership is expected, with company-provided support where needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as an HGV or Plant Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own tools (specialist tools provided by the company).
• Proactive approach with focus on customer service and quality.
• Demonstrable experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within plant and fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, and repair plant equipment including diggers, dumpers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks, and pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
• Perform refurbishments and replacements as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and quality guidelines.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
