Job Title: Mobile Plant Engineer

Location: Northwest, UK

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role: My client is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team. This role involves maintenance, servicing, and inspections of plant equipment across the fleet, as well as on-site repairs throughout the Northwest. Working on heavy mobile plant such as excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers, grab wagons, and much more!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of plant machinery.
2. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
3. Diagnose and carry out on-site repairs efficiently across multiple locations.
4. Work independently and as part of a team to minimize downtime and maintain high operational standards.
5. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any major issues.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, engines, and mechanical systems.
3. Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site.
4. Full UK driving license (essential).
