Job summary

North Wales Housing is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to maintain and improve housing across North Wales. You will decorate properties to a high standard, prepare homes for new tenants, and assist with related repair and maintenance tasks.

A company van is provided for business use. Essential requirements include NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating, driving licence, and ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating within housing or property maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to the role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating works in occupied and void properties to a high standard.
• Prepare, clean and clear properties to support reletting activities.
• Undertake waste removal and disposal in line with regulations.
• Support flooring-related works, including fitting vinyl, safety flooring and carpets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with tenants.
