Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our repairs and maintenance team in the Birmingham area, delivering high-quality painting, staining blocking and decorating tasks in residents' homes. You will be expected to work autonomously or as part of a busy team, with an apprenticeship or City & Guilds in Painting and Decorating, a valid driving licence, and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating completed.
• Extensive time served in Painting, Decorating and associated trade skills.
• Good organisational skills and time management.
• Right-first-time workmanship in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating tasks in residents' homes.
• Prepare surfaces, stain-block, decorate and finish to required standards.
• Work both autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
