Job summary

Broads Authority is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to assist with the maintenance of the Broads National Park. You will perform practical tasks including boat handling, use of brushcutters, chainsaws, and other small construction plant equipment.

As a mobile team member, you will work across the Broads, often with volunteers in wetlands and remote locations, requiring good organisation, reliability and the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current driving licence.
• Practical construction experience in countryside furniture and working on, or near, water is highly advantageous.
• The ability to work outside in all weather conditions for long periods is essential.
• Regular team-working, often with volunteers in wetland and remote locations, requires reliability and organisation.
