Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer for duties across NHS properties in Kent, including mental health units. The role requires painting, carpentry, plumbing, locksmithing, and travel between sites. You will use hand tools and handheld devices to complete planned and reactive tasks, while maintaining safety standards.

The position is full-time, 42.5 hours weekly, based in Maidstone, with DBS checks and a UK driving licence required to support a range of healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Good knowledge and practical experience of carpentry.
• Good knowledge and practical experience of plumbing.
• Knowledge and experience of locksmithing.
• Own suitable hand tools and a full UK driving licence.
• DBS check required for role and ability to travel across Kent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating works to a high standard.
• Undertake general maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing and locksmithing works where required.
• Identify and report potential safety, security and maintenance issues.
• Work safely within NHS and mental health environments.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and site users.
• Maintain maintenance records and update digital job management systems.
• Travel between NHS sites across Kent as required.
