Apleona Group has a vacancy for a Mobile Building Maintenance Plumber in Maidstone. You will cover two Kent and Medway NHS Trust sites, performing planned and reactive plumbing and building services maintenance across a 120-site estate, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety procedures.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or Building Services, a valid UK driving licence, and strong communication skills.

  This role operates across two Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, covering mental health services and community healthcare. You will be supporting a varied estate of over 120 sites that provide round-the-clock patient care.

  As aBuilding Maintenance Plumberwho will work in a dedicated team and undertake the planned and reactive maintenance across our client premises, Kent and Medway NHS Trusts. In this role, you will be responsible for the planned maintenance of the building engineering services ensuring compliance with the specifications, schedules and procedures, ensuring that all communication channels are utilised to keep both the client and company informed.

  We’re looking for someone to achieve a prompt and effective response to emergency situations, who will be capable to diagnose faults and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises. Liaising with specialist sub-contractors and engineers with other disciplines, you will ensure the efficient operation of the client’s site as to minimise difficulties with the building environmental systems.

  As a Building Maintenance Plumber, we’re looking for;

  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 Plumbing & or Heating or Building services C&G
  • Ability to demonstrate good oral, written communication skills
  • Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance services as well as the ability to multi task
  • Valid UK Driving licence is essential
