Job summary

PRS Recruitment Agency is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to support NHS facilities on a mobile basis. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics across multiple sites, ensuring safety and compliance with NHS HTMs.

The role requires City & Guilds Electrical Installation Foundation Level, an ECS Gold Card, and the ability to travel between sites. IPAF/PASMA and NHS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and health and safety requirements.
• Able to travel between NHS sites and work across multiple facilities.
• Experience within NHS, healthcare or critical environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems in NHS facilities.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on electrical installations.
• Maintain lighting, emergency lighting, distribution boards and electrical panels.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, HTMs and NHS requirements.
• Complete maintenance records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with NHS staff and other contractors and travel between sites.

Education

City & Guilds Electrical Installation Foundation Level or equivalent

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing

IPAF and/or PASMA certification
