Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to support heavy industrial plant across multiple production sites in the South West. The role combines planned maintenance with reactive breakdowns and involves travel between sites with a company van provided.

The successful candidate will have experience in bearings, gearboxes, pumps and drive systems, plus welding and fabrication skills advantageous. A full UK driving licence is essential and a pension scheme is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial environments managing preventative maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs across multiple sites.
• Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Replace bearings, gearboxes, motors and drive systems.
• Maintain conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers and related plant.
• Work across sites in the South West with safety procedures.
• Assist with continuous improvement and shutdown support.
