Job summary

Pareto Facilities Management is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial properties across Oxford, South London, Kent and West London. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure safe operation of building services across multiple sites.

The role requires a UK driving licence and the ability to work independently as part of an engineering team, with on-call duties and a £200 standby payment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical maintenance within commercial buildings.
• Strong experience of both PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving capability.
• Sound knowledge of ACOP L8 / Legionella control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the portfolio.
• Maintain, diagnose and repair mechanical building-services systems and associated plant.
• Undertake minor mechanical works and repairs as required.
• Identify faults, diagnose issues and report remedial works.
• Support the safe and compliant operation of mechanical plant and equipment.
• Carry out duties in accordance with ACOP L8 requirements for Legionella control.
• Complete job sheets and reports using CAFM and other company systems.
• Identify additional or follow-on works and report these appropriately.
