Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Technical Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical systems across Birmingham and the Midlands. The role covers technical leadership, PPM and reactive maintenance, and coordination with engineers and subcontractors.

There is a strong focus on health and safety, statutory compliance, and delivering energy efficiency improvements. The position includes training, progression opportunities, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a technical management or supervisory role within facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems, including HVAC and electrical systems.
• Experience managing engineers, subcontractors and service delivery across multiple sites.
• Good understanding of health and safety, statutory compliance and PM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across mechanical and electrical systems on multiple sites in Birmingham and the Midlands.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring high service standards.
• Manage engineers and subcontractors, driving performance and development.
• Ensure full health and safety compliance and contractual obligations.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Conduct site audits and technical reviews of building systems and services.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers on technical projects and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements, energy efficiency and cost savings.
