Job description

Job Description: Mobile Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations including:

1. Ventilation systems (AHU, Intake/extract)
2. Heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.)
3. Water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to clients, answering queries, reporting defects, and keeping clients informed of site activities during visits. Additionally, you will need to complete all work-related documentation accurately and promptly, including inspection reports and remedial work logs.

Requirements include:

1. Valid full driving licence
2. IT literacy
3. Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces
4. Willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota
5. Good verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to use a mobile device effectively

Preferred qualifications and experience:

1. Experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment
2. Relevant qualifications such as C&G Level 3 or Level 5, NVQ, or HNC equivalent
3. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working
