Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to service, diagnose and repair vehicles at customers’ locations across the Warrington cluster area. You will operate with your own RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided, enabling high-quality service away from traditional garages.

Expect a 40-hour week with extensive schedule planning, strong earning potential through bonuses and overtime, and clear progression within a trusted, long-established roadside services provider.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks for customers at locations such as driveways and car parks.
• Manage stock and complete reporting.
• Maintain strong customer communications and represent the RAC on-site.
