Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician for sites around North Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The role involves non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, plus assisting in planned and reactive electrical and mechanical plant works within a designated region.

The successful candidate will have a City & Guilds/NVQ trade qualification and prior building maintenance experience in commercial/retail settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
• Will perform non-technical repairs and minor PPMs.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensure all tools and equipment needed are available and serviceable at all times.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Technician

Qualifications & Experience – Mobile Maintenance Technician

• City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing) – Preferrable
• Previous experience in building maintenance within a commercial / retail environment
