Job summary

Omega Resource Group is looking for a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join a leading supermarket contract across the Chelmsford area, including Maldon and Witham. The role offers a £30K salary and a 40-hour week, with travel time paid after half an hour each way.

The successful candidate will assist in planned and reactive maintenance, carry out non-technical repairs, and support electrical and mechanical plant works at multiple sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
• Carpentry, plumbing or roofing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
• Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.
• Responding promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPM&'s. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the designated region.
