Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a hard working handyperson to join our team in Hampshire. The role involves day-to-day maintenance with a van, tools, PPE and other gear supplied, and a fixed shift from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The contract runs until 18 October 2026, with a rate of £15.63 PAYE. You will perform PPM and reactive works, support the helpdesk and operations teams, supervise subcontractors and undertake basic trades such as plumbing, carpentry and decorating.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent with a C in English and Maths.
• IOSH Working Safely certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Provide support to helpdesk and operational teams.
• Supervise works carried out by specialist subcontractors and report anomalies.
• Carry out basic trades including plumbing, carpentry and decorating as qualified.
• Maintain records, meter readings and stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legionella and water hygiene controls.
• Assist with office moves, installations and furniture assembly.
