Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property Engineering is seeking a skilled Handyman to support our Hampshire operations. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, completing routine PPM tasks, and assisting the helpdesk and field teams.

You will supervise subcontractors, coordinate with operational leads, and perform practical trades such as carpentry, decorating, plumbing, and basic electrical tasks as required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent with English and Maths at grade C or higher.
• IOSH Working Safely certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as required by contract.
• Support helpdesk and operations teams with timely responses.
• Supervise work by subcontractors and report anomalies to operations leads.
• Identify opportunities to self-deliver maintenance activities.
• Keep statutory records up to date, including legionella controls.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks as needed.
• Assist with general building installations and repairs and liaise with suppliers.
