Empire Partnership in Central London is seeking a Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias to join a professional building services team. The role covers commercial properties across Central London, performing PPM, reactive maintenance and general M&E tasks while travelling between sites.

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with a basic salary of £46,000–£49,000 plus a travel card, and provides a stable long-term opportunity with exposure to high-profile

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial buildings.
• Fault finding and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting and emergency lighting.
• Plant room inspections and monitoring of building services equipment.
• Carry out minor plumbing, fabric and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites.
• Complete maintenance records and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a professional building services maintenance team covering commercial properties across Central London.

This role will involve travelling between multiple commercial office buildings and mixed-use properties carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and general building services maintenance across landlord M&E systems.

We are specifically looking for engineers with either a mechanical or electrical trade bias, combined with solid commercial maintenance experience within occupied buildings.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across high-profile Central London sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial buildings
• Fault finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical building services systems
• Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, lighting, emergency lighting, and associated plant
• Plant room inspections and monitoring of building services equipment
• Carry out minor plumbing, fabric, and general maintenance works where required
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites
• Complete maintenance records and compliance paperwork accurately
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and site teams
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance
• Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification/background
• Strong all-round M&E maintenance knowledge
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance within occupied commercial buildings
• Good fault-finding ability across building services systems
• Client-facing with strong communication skills
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently across multiple sites

Desirable

• 18th edition if electrically bias
• Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification
• Experience within foot mobile maintenance roles
• Basic knowledge of BMS systems
