Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Authorised Person (LVAP) to support mobile services across healthcare and critical infrastructure sites in the North East, including NHS estates and demanding hospitals.

You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and minor installations, act as the LVAP on site, and contribute to safety, reliability and energy efficiency while remaining hands-on and part of a skilled engineering team, including an

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Experience as LVAP or LVAP-ready role in healthcare estates or critical environments.
Good understanding of HTM guidance and electrical safe systems of work.
Strong knowledge of LV distribution systems, fault finding and maintenance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Competent using CAFM systems and mobile technology.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Undertake LVAP duties in accordance with site Electrical Safety Rules and HTM guidance.
Carry out safe isolation, switching operations and issue electrical permits.
Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services.
Diagnose faults and repair LV distribution systems and plant.
Support minor electrical installation and project works.
Complete maintenance records using CAFM/mobile tech.
Maintain accurate asset information and engineering documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, resilience and energy efficiency.
Build positive relationships with clients through excellent service.
Participate in on-call rota.
