Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor for a mobile role covering sites predominantly across Scotland with occasional travel to England. You will carry out detailed risk assessments, evaluate hot and cold-water systems, and provide recommendations for remedial works and maintenance.

The position requires at least 2 years’ site-based Legionella Risk Assessments, a recognised qualification such as City & Guilds, strong knowledge of water hygiene legislation, and a full UK

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in a site-based role.
• Strong knowledge of current water hygiene legislation and compliance.
• Experience producing detailed risk assessment reports and water system schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments across multiple sites.
• Assessing water systems and identifying risks and non-compliance.
• Providing recommendations for remedial works and ongoing maintenance.
• Producing clear site drawings/diagrams of water systems.
• Completing detailed reports within required timescales.
• Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274 and BS 8580.
